Fortunately, in East Brunswick Township, if you have a fire, someone will come. The most modern apparatus and state of the art equipment, manned by well trained volunteers, will come to your aid.
To be assured that we will always have a sufficient number of fire fighters available at all hours, from time to time we find it necessary to increase our personnel. Members move, others change their work schedules, others are granted leaves of absence, etc.
If you are located in our response area, between the ages of 18 and 45 ( 16 for cadets ), in good health and want to serve your community as a volunteer fire fighter, please contact us. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY. We will train and supply you with the latest fire fighting equipment - from protective clothing to fire engines.
Although we are all volunteers, there are some financial considerations, i.e. Length Of Service Award Program, annual stipend clothing allowance and a College scholarship. Additionally, you will receive a full insurance coverage that includes, among others, medical and Workman's Comp coverage for all Fire Company related incidents.
THE GREATEST REWARD THOUGH, IS KNOWING THAT YOU ARE A MEMBER OF EAST BRUNSWICK'S BRAVEST.
Please give this appeal your serious consideration. Should you join us, you will become a part of an organization with but one purpose - that of saving life and property.
In an effort to ease and expedite your application, should you consider it please submit the following application & release to recruitment@ebifc.com :
Membership Application
If your schedule prevents you from obtaining a notarized signature, simply return the release form unsigned. Arrangements will be made for signatures during the interview.
Note to cadet applicants - ages 16 through 18:
As cadet members of the fire company, due to child labor lawhttp://ebifc.com/awesome/2015/08/Membership_Application.pdfs and liability issues, you will be prohibited from using certain tools and being exposed to certain environments and scenes. Also, as at this point in life, your main obligation is to concentrate on your educational requirements, you will be exempt from meeting minimum response requirements expected from older members. You will, however, ride the fire engines, respond to alarms, train regularly with your brother and sister firefighters, and partake in all fire company activities.
Upon receipt of your application, we will arrange for an interview committee to meet with you for the purpose of explaining the duties and responsibilities of our members. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at 732.400.4401 or at recruitment@ebifc.com.
We hope to hear from you in the near future.
Sincerely,
Recruitment Committee.
